Who we are
Statement of Faith
New Beginnings Fellowship Beliefs, Positions and Core Values
1- In the word-by-word divine inspiration, inerrancy, and final authority of the Bible. (1)
2- In one God, (2) eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (3)
3- In the Lord Jesus Christ as true God and true man; (4) His virgin birth, (5) sinless humanity, (6)
substitutionary death, (7) burial, (8) bodily resurrection, (9) present advocacy, (10) and His bodily
return. (11)
4- In the fall of mankind, (12) resulting in complete and universal separation from God(13) and the
need of salvation for all individuals.(14)
5- That the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood and died as a sacrifice for imputed sin and the sins of
every person in the whole world(15) in order to satisfy the righteousness of God and make
salvation available to all. (16)
6- That salvation, by God’s grace, is a free and everlasting gift of God, (17) entirely apart from works,
(18) which is received through an individual’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.(19)
7- That the Holy Spirit regenerates with divine life(20) and personally indwells every believer(21) upon
faith in Christ Jesus for salvation.(22)
8- That once a person is saved, they can never be lost. (23)
9- In the bodily resurrection and unending life of the saved with the Lord, (24) and the bodily
resurrection and unending punishment of the unsaved separated from the Lord. (25)
10- The church, beginning at Pentecost, is the body of Christ comprised of all those who have trusted
in Christ Jesus as Savior. (26)
11- It is the believers’ responsibility and privilege to glorify Christ Jesus by sharing the gospel with
the world and making disciples of all peoples. (27)
Positions We Hold To:
1- The consistent literal, historical-grammatical interpretation of the Bible. (28)
2- The pre-tribulational rapture of the church (29) and Christ’s premillennial return to the earth. (30)
3- The practice of believers’ baptism by immersion as a means of one’s testimony of faith in Christ.
(31)
4- The practice of the Lord’s Supper as a means of remembering Christ’s sacrifice until He returns.
(32)
5- Men and women are created with equal value, but with distinct and complementary roles in marriage and church leadership as defined in the Bible. (33)
Core Values:
1- Dependance upon God to live our lives according to the Spirit and not according to the flesh. (34)
2- The role and responsibility of the church to support those involved in reaching the world with
the gospel. (35)
3- A readiness to sacrifice for Christ and His church. (36)
4- Godly relationships and interdependence in serving God. (37)
5- The potential of all believers to be used by God in powerful ways. (38)
6- Excellence and urgency in all we do for Christ Jesus in this lifetime. (39)
